Patna, July 14 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar laid the foundation stone of R. Jhunjhunwala Shankara Eye Hospital being set up under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model in the state capital.
While laying the foundation stone, Kumar said here today that the hospital will be a state-of-the-art center for specialised eye care services.
Reaffirming his government's commitment to strengthening healthcare infrastructure across Bihar, Kumar said that his government was focusing on improving the health services in the state so that no one was forced to go outside Bihar for treatment. He said that the construction of the super-specialty eye hospital will significantly boost local access to high-quality ophthalmic care.
