Kolkata, Jan. 24 -- Bharatiya Janata Party's national president, Nitin Nabin, will skip Kolkata during his two-day visit to West Bengal, opting instead to focus entirely on Durgapur and Asansol in West Burdwan district.

His visit, scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, has sparked political speculation, especially as it marks his first trip to the state after taking charge of the party.

Nabin will arrive at Andal airport around 4 pm on Tuesday and travel directly to Durgapur.

In the evening, he is slated to attend the party's "Kamal Mela" at the Chitralaya Mela Ground and later hold an organisational meeting at a hotel in the city.
