New Delhi, Jan. 19 -- New Delhi, Jan 19 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) election process for its National President has reached the final stage, with Nitin Nabin emerging as the sole candidate for the post, according to an official press statement issued on Monday.
The process was initiated after the completion of organisational elections in 30 of the party's 36 state units, comfortably exceeding the mandatory requirement of elections being completed in at least 50 per cent of the states.
As per the schedule, the notification for the election process was issued on January 16, 2026, along with the publication of the Electoral Roll. The nomination process was held on January 19 between 2 pm and 4 pm.
