Nitin Nabin resigns from Bihar Legislative Assembly, Speaker accepts his papers

Patna, March 30 -- BJP national president Nitin Nabin on Monday resigned from the membership of the Bihar Legislative Assembly following his election to the Rajya Sabha.

BJP state president Sanjay Saraogi submitted the resignation letter of Nabin to the Assembly Speaker Prem Kumar in compliance with rules governing dual membership.

Meanwhile, Prem Kumar said the resignation of Nitin Nabin from the membership of the Assembly has been formally accepted and necessary action has been initiated.
