New Delhi, Jan. 19 -- Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) process for the election of its National President has reached its final stage, with Nitin Nabin emerging as the sole candidate for the post, according to an official press statement issued on Monday.
The election process was initiated after the completion of organisational elections in 30 out of 36 states, comfortably surpassing the mandatory requirement of elections being completed in at least 50 per cent of the states.
As per the schedule, the notification for the election process was issued on January 16, 2026, along with the publication of the Electoral Roll. The nomination process was held on January 19 between 2 pm and 4 pm.
