Nisha, Muskan, Kundu win Gold at Asian U19 Boxing Championships
Bangkok, Aug. 10 -- India's young boxing contingent showcased remarkable strength at the Asian U19 Boxing Championships 2025 in Bangkok, clinching a total of 14 medals, including three golds, seven silvers, and four bronzes.
Standout performances came from Nisha (54kg) and Muskan (57kg), who secured gold medals in the women's category, while Rahul Kundu (75kg) triumphed in the men's finals with a 4:1 split decision over Uzbekistan's Muhammadjon Yakupboevek.
India's women boxers particularly shone, with nine out of ten competitors returning home with medals - two golds, five silvers, and two bronzes -highlighting India's rise as a boxing powerhouse alongside nations like Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and China.
