Sriharikota (AP), July 30 -- ISRO Chairman V Narayanan today said the scientific data from
Indo-US Joint Earth Observation Satellite NISAR, which was successfully placed into the Orbit
by GSLV-F16, will be used not only by ISRO and NASA but also by others.
Addressing the scientists from the Mission Control Centre after the successful launch from
the spaceport in this spindle-shaped Island, Narayanan expressed his extreme happiness
at the successful mission.
Dr.Narayanan, who is also the Secretary, Department of Space, said the NISAR satellite has been precisely injected in the intended orbit.
He said the orbit achieved is at variance with the intended with a very small margin.
