Chennai, Dec. 24 -- In a ghastly accident, nine people werekilled and four others were injured when a Tamil Nadu State ExpressTransport Corporation (TNSETC) bus, jumped the road median andrammed into two cars at Thittakudi Taluk on the Trichy-ChennaiNational high in Cuddalore district to night, even as Chief MinisterM K Stalin announced solatium to the families of victims.
Among the deceased were five men and four women.
The injured included two children, Mr Stalin said, according to anofficial release.
The TNSETC bus was proceeding towards Chennai from Trichywhen the driver lost control after the front tyre got burst.
