Srinagar, Feb. 10 -- Minimum night temperatures remained above normal across Jammu and Kashmir, with Kashmir division recording temperatures 1-4degC higher than average and Jammu division 2-3degC above normal, the Meteorological Department said on Tuesday.

The summer capital Srinagar recorded a minimum of 3.3degC, about 3.1degC above normal, while Qazigund in south Kashmir settled at 2.6degC, also significantly higher than average.

The ski resort of Gulmarg was the coldest place in Kashmir at -3.4degC, while Bhaderwah recorded the lowest minimum temperature in Jammu division at 2.4degC.

The tourist resort of Pahalgam recorded a minimum temperature of -0.4degC, several degrees above normal.
