Kangra, March 19 -- A three-day "Artisan Awareness Workshop" commenced at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Kangra on Wednesday, aimed at empowering artisans and promoting traditional crafts.

The workshop, inaugurated with a ceremonial lamp lighting, has brought together 52 artisans from eight craft groups across Himachal Pradesh. Participants represent a diverse range of traditional crafts, including Kullu weaving, Chamba rumal, bamboo craft, Kinnauri shawls and handloom traditions from Lahaul-Spiti.
