Siliguri, May 3 -- Sujapur Assembly constituency Trinamool Congress (TMC) candidate Sabina Yasmin on Sunday launched a sharp attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) after the National Investigation Agency (NIA) issued notices to several TMC leaders in Kaliachak, Malda.
Yasmin is also the outgoing Minister of State for Irrigation and North Bengal Development Department.
The notices are linked to the April 1 incident at Mothabari, where allegations include confinement of judges, road blockades, and attacks on them. In connection with the ongoing probe, multiple TMC leaders have been directed to appear at Kaliachak Police Station by 12 noon on Sunday.
