Patna, May 1 -- The National Human Rights Commission (NHRS) took suo motu cognizance of media reports of more than 100 children falling ill after consuming mid-day meal in a government school in Mokama of Patna district. Official sources said here on Wednesday that the commission served notice to the state chief secretary and Senior Police Superintendent of Patna to furnished detail report within 2 weeks about the incident. The commission has also asked the chief secretary and the senior police Superintendent of Patna to mention the health condition of the victim children.
