Ranchi, April 1 -- Road infrastructure projects worth over Rs 357 crore have been approved in Jharkhand, including strengthening of the Ranchi-Mahulia stretch and construction of underpasses and a flyover in the Jamshedpur region, according to the NHAI regional office here.

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) said strengthening and overlay work on the Rampur-Mahulia section of NH-33 under the Ranchi-Mahulia corridor will be taken up at an approved tender cost of Rs 277.15 crore.

The work has been awarded to M/s S.R.S.C. Infra Pvt Ltd, it said.

In addition, NHAI has approved construction of a light vehicular underpass (LVUP) at Phuldungri, a flyover at Chandil and a vehicular underpass (VUP) at Baharagora at a cost of Rs 80.24...
