Wellington, Dec. 24 -- New Zealand has named its squads for the upcoming white-ball tour of India, with the five-match T20I series, following three ODIs, being viewed as a vital preparatory phase ahead of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, scheduled to begin on February 7 across India and Sri Lanka.

According to the International Cricket Council (ICC) website, Mitchell Santner will captain the T20I side as he continues his return from injury, while Michael Bracewell has been entrusted with leadership duties in the ODI series.
