Chennai, Feb. 12 -- Despite dry weather prevailing over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal area during the last few days withno traces of rain, a new Low Pressure Area is likely to from over the Bay of Bengal on February 15 which is expected to revive lightto moderate rainfall activity.

Met office on Thursday said there was no large change in minimum temperature over Tamilnadu, Puducherry and Karaikal area during the past 24 hours though chilly conditions continued to prevail in several parts of Chennai and its neighbouring districts.

An Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation lies over east Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal and extends upto5.8 km above mean sea level.
