Jammu, Nov. 30 -- Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today laid the foundation stone to rebuild 189 homes that were completely damaged during April and August floods, and said the new homes will foster stability in the lives of flood-affected people and contribute to overall development of society.
The project to rebuild 189 homes in Ramban district is at Rs.18 Cr.
"These homes were completely damaged during April and August floods and with help of HRDS-India, specific techniques will be used to build, comfortable, stronger and more resilient prefabricated homes," he said.
