Lucknow, Feb. 6 -- Significant changes are likely to be seen soon in the Uttar Pradesh unit of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) after union minister of state for finance Pankaj Chaudhary has been made the state BJP president.

The new state executive and even in the district organisation is necessary to spruce up the 'Team BJP' before the crucial 2027 assembly polls.

The new organisation is set to have better coordination with the RSS and will try to shed the anti-incumbency factor of the 10 year regime of the Yogi Adityanath government.

Preparations are underway to give opportunities to new and active workers in the party organization. Serious consideration is being given to replacing long-serving office-bearers with new faces.
