Hyderabad, March 10 -- A new Amrit Bharat Express train connecting Charlapalli in Telangana and Kamakhya in Assam will be introduced from March 13, 2026, providing improved connectivity between the southern states and the North Eastern region of the country.

According to railway officials, the train will be flagged off from Kamakhya on March 13. The service will consist of Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches, offering an affordable and comfortable travel option for long-distance passengers.
