Mumbai, April 30 -- The Central Railway has announced the launch of new Amrit Bharat Express services from May, establishing direct rail connectivity between Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, with both weekly and daily operations aimed at improving long-distance travel.

The weekly Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Ayodhya Cantt-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus service (22111/22112) will commence from May 5 and 6, 2026. The train will depart from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus every Tuesday at 7.55 am and arrive in Ayodhya at 10.15 am the following day. On the return journey, it will leave Ayodhya every Wednesday at 1.50 pm and reach Mumbai at 3.45 pm the next day.
