Shimla, Feb. 18 -- Himachal Pradesh Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi and BJP MLA Vipin Singh Parmar faced off on the third day of the ongoing discussion on the Revenue Deficit Grant (RDG) in the Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha on Tuesday.
Participating in the discussion, Negi termed the Finance Commission a "puppet" of the Central Government and cornered the BJP on issues related to Vande Mataram and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). He said the Commission had recommended closure of the RDG and that it was now up to Parliament to accept or reject the recommendation.
