Pankaj JainNew Delhi, March 12 -- As temperatures begin to rise in the national capital, the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has launched a comprehensive Summer Action Plan to ensure adequate and uninterrupted supply of potable water across its jurisdiction during the upcoming summer months.

Announcing the plan on Thursday, NDMC Vice Chairman Kuljeet Singh Chahal said the civic body has taken a series of proactive steps to strengthen water supply infrastructure and manage seasonal demand effectively.

The measures include procurement of additional water tankers, expansion of Water ATMs, development of a modern water control room and enhanced emergency response arrangements.
