Srinagar, Oct. 13 -- With refusal to offer a 'safe seat' to Congress, the National Conference (NC) today fielded four candidates for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections from Jammu and Kashmir, scheduled to be held on October 24.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) also filed nominations for three of the four seats that have remained vacant since February 2021.

The nominated candidates of NC include former Cabinet Minister Choudhary Muhammad Ramzan; former Minister of State Sajad Kichloo, Treasurer NC Gurwinder Singh alias Shammi Oberoi, and State spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar.
