Raipur, March 31 -- Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai today said that the state is poised to enter a new phase of development, trust and prosperity as it moves decisively towards becoming free of Maoist insurgency.
The remark came on the government's deadline day for achieving a Naxal free Chhattisgarh.
Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Vijay Sharma met the Chief Minister at his residence office in Nava Raipur and congratulated him on the progress achieved in curbing Maoist activity. Sharma presented a bouquet to CM Sai and described the moment as an important step in the state's journey towards lasting peace.
