Coimbatore, Nov. 19 -- Asserting that India is on its way to becoming the global hub of natural farming, which is rooted in the country's traditions, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said the nation's youth are increasingly recognising agriculture as a modern opportunity empowering the rural economy.
In his inaugural address at the three-day South India Natural Farming Summit here, the Prime Minister said natural farming is an indigenous idea. It was suited to the country's environment, he said, while urging the farmers to adopt the practice of 'One Acre, One Season' natural farming.
