Bhubaneswar, Feb. 7 -- National Level Handloom Expo, will be a vibrant marketing platform for handloom weavers from across the country to showcase and sell their exquisite creations. Odisha Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts Minister Pradeep Bal Samanta said on Saturday.

Inaugurating the 24th National Level Handloom Expo, the Minister said the Expo also facilitates meaningful interaction among weavers, enabling them to exchange knowledge on skills, techniques, cost efficiency, and to study contemporary colour and design trends prevailing in different states.

He said Odisha's handwoven textiles have played a significant role in shaping India's textile heritage and have earned global recognition in the handloom sector.
