Haridwar, Feb. 5 -- Day 2 of the Hockey events at National Games 2025 commenced with Haryana Women defeating Karnataka Women 4-0 here.

Captain Rani (6', 24'), Ishika (34') and Mahima Choudhary (51') scored the goals for Haryana in their season opener.

With two losses in a row, Karnataka have slipped to the bottom of the Pool A standings.

Later in the day, Mizoram played out a 2-2 draw against Manipur at the Vandana Katariya Hockey Stadium. Lily Chanu Mayengbam opened the scoring for the latter state in the sixth minute.

F. Lalbiaksiami (9', 17') scored a brace to help Mizoram take a one-goal lead. However, Manipur skipper Pinky Devi Thokchom found the back of the net in the 26th minute to level the scores.
