New Delhi, March 29 -- The National Akali Dal today raised concerns over rising inflation and alleged black marketing of essential commodities, urging the government to take action at a "war footing" to address the situation.
In a statement issued during the announcement of the party's Delhi unit, National President Paramjeet Singh Pamma said that global developments, particularly tensions between the United States and Iran, have contributed to price rise in India. He pointed to increases in the cost of LPG cylinders, vegetables, pulses and other daily essentials, saying the issue directly impacts common citizens.
