Srinagar, July 26 -- In a significant move on Kargil Vijay Diwas, the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) today launched a dedicated scheme to provide free legal aid to the families of soldiers.
The scheme named the NALSA Veer Parivar Sahayata Yojana 2025, aims to provide relief to the soldiers stationed in far off areas from the burden of any legal disputes. This will also ensure their families also receive proper legal representation.
The scheme was formally launched today in Srinagar during a conference in Srinagar by Justice Surya Kant and Executive Chairman of the NALSA. The event was attended by Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, Jammu & Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, and J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
