Kanpur, Dec. 29 -- Panic spread in Kanpur on Monday morning after the naked body of a young man was found at the Nirala Nagar railway ground under the Govind Nagar police station area.
According to the police, the body was lying in a pool of blood, and preliminary observations suggest that the victim was attacked on the head with a brick. No clothes were found on the body.
However, clothes, including a jacket bearing the Hindustan Petroleum logo, were recovered about 50 meters away from the spot. A motorcycle was also found parked nearby.
