Nagpur, Oct. 27 -- A major fire broke out this morning at a two-storey dairy located in the Seminary Hills area of Nagpur, causing property damage estimated in lakhs of rupees, officials said.

The incident occurred around 5 am in the Civil Lines locality, situated behind the TV Tower and Veterinary Hostel, officials added.

Preliminary reports suggest the blaze is suspected to have been triggered by a short circuit. Residents on their morning walk noticed flames emanating from the dairy, identified as Gopal Dairy, and immediately alerted the owner and the fire department.
