Nagpur, Oct. 19 -- The bodies of prominent Nagpur hotelier Javed Akhtar and his wife Nadira Akhtar, who died in a road accident in Italy earlier this month, will arrive in Nagpur today, the family confirmed.
Javed Akhtar, owner of the well-known Gulshan Plaza Hotel in Sitabuldi, and his wife were killed in a fatal car crash on October 2 near Grosseto in the Tuscany region of Italy. The couple had been on a family vacation at the time of the incident.
The couple's three children : Arzoo, Shifa, and Jazel, were also travelling with them. According to family sources, elder daughter Arzoo is still undergoing treatment in Italian hospital and is expected to return in about 10 days, while younger daughter Shifa and son Jazel have recovered from...
