Nagpur, Aug. 23 -- A Nagpur court has granted regular bail to Chintaman Gulabrao Wanjari, Deputy Director of Education, in connection with the widely reported Shalarth ID scam.
The orders were passed by the Court of Judicial Magistrate First Class, Court No. 10, presided over by S. K. Sonawane .
Wanjari was arrested on May 22, 2025, following registration of the case at Nagpur's Cyber Police Station.
He faces multiple charges, including offences under Section 66(c) of the Information Technology Act, as well as various provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, specifically Sections 318(4), 319(2), 336(3), 338, 340(1), and 340(2) .
