Nagpur, March 24 -- The Municipal Corporation of Nagpur on Monday demolished the "illegal" portions of Minorities Democratic Party (MDP) leader Fahim Khan's house by using bulldozer, days after his name surfaced in connection with the recent riots in the Orange City.
Khan was arrested on March 19 in connection with the violence that broke out in the city on March 17.
The Municipal Corporation started the demolition operation at Khan's house in the Tekanaka area here at 10 am. Some part of the house was allegedly built on encroached land and extended.
