Dimapur, Jan. 22 -- Nagaland fire & emergency services department on Thursday reiterated the total ban on forest fire in the state.
In a circular, the directorate of fire & emergency services said during this dry and windy season, it has been observed that the rampage indiscriminate burning of forest by hunters, campers ad miscreants continue to exist in the state despite the best effort by the fire fighters of fire and emergency services and village volunteers with the support of the district administration and police to counter the forest fire from reaching the residential area.
