New Delhi, Aug. 1 -- BJP president J P Nadda on Saturday expressed his condolences on the death of former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh and said the Rajya Sabha MP was a skilled politician, strategist and a person of sociable nature.
''The sad news was received of the demise of Shri Amar Singhji, a Rajya Sabha MP and popular politician. He was a skilled politician, strategist and a person of sociable nature.
''I pray for the peace of his soul. May God give the family the strength to bear this sorrow,'' he said in his tweet.
Singh, who was admitted to a hospital in Singapore, passed away on Saturday. He was 64.
