Shimla, Dec. 29 -- The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has projected a priority sector lending potential of about Rs 9,356 crore for Shimla district for the financial year 2026-27.
The target was unveiled with the release of the district's Potential Linked Credit Plan (PLP) by Deputy Commissioner Shimla Anupam Kashyap here today.
Releasing the action plan book, the Deputy Commissioner said the PLP comprehensively assesses the feasibility of credit across agriculture, allied activities, MSMEs, education, housing, exports, social infrastructure, and agricultural infrastructure.
