Panchkula, Aug. 4 -- : A powerful explosion tore through a fast food shop in Kalka's bustling market area in Panchkula, Haryana, at around 10 am today, causing widespread panic among local traders and residents.

The blast was so intense that it ripped the shop's shutter off its hinges, hurling it 100 meters away, while a portion of the shop's wall collapsed. Nearby vehicles, including a motorcycle and a scooter, were also knocked over by the force of the explosion.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported as the shop was closed at the time.

Local residents promptly alerted the authorities, and police teams arrived at the scene to launch an investigation.
