Kozhikode, Feb. 2 -- The Indian union Muslim League ( IUML) leader and former MLA KNA Khader on Monday said his party has a rightful claim to the deputy chief minister's post in Kerala, if the UDF comes to power in the state in the elections due in a few months.
Speaking to the media in Kozhikode on Monday, KNA Khader said the IUML is eligible to get the deputy chief minister's post. "Taking into account the Muslim League's performance in the assembly polls, it is expected that the constituent parties in the UDF will consider the matter," he added.
The former MLA said that he expects that the UDF will give the post of deputy CM to the Muslim League even without a formal request, once the coalition gets majority in the 140-member Assembly....
