Palampur, Jan. 16 -- : A five-day mushroom production training programme organised by the Horticulture Department concluded successfully here on Friday.
The training program was held from January 12 to January 16.
A total of 35 farmers from Tissa development block of Chamba district and from Hamirpur and Kangra districts participated in the programme. During the training, farmers were imparted detailed knowledge on modern mushroom cultivation techniques, compost preparation, value addition, marketing strategies and availability of bank credit facilities etc.
