Mumbai, April 1 -- A dramatic incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon when around 10 auto rickshaws suddenly caught fire in the Pant Nagar area of Ghatkopar East in the city suburb, with no injuries reported, officials said.
According to the fire brigade sources, the incident occurred opposite Vidya Bhavan School, behind Gagangiri Building at Ghatkopar East, prompting a quick response from the Mumbai Fire Brigade.
Firefighters rushed to the spot and began operations to control the blaze.
According to officials, the fire was brought under control and completely extinguished by 1:34 pm.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
