Mumbai, Nov. 25 -- The National Security Guard (NSG) will hold a special ceremony, titled "Sankalp", at the Gateway of India on Wednesday to commemorate the 17th anniversary of the November 26, 2008 terror attacks in Mumbai.
The programme centres on a collective pledge to ensure that such acts of terrorism never occur again.
The 2008 attacks were carried out by 10 terrorists who infiltrated Mumbai through the sea route from Pakistan. The strikes claimed 166 lives, including police personnel and foreign nationals, while more than 300 people were injured.
