Mumbai, Nov. 26 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar led a ceremony on Wednesday to honour police personnel who lost their lives during the 2008 terror attacks in Mumbai. The tribute was held at the martyrs memorial inside the Mumbai Police Commissioner Office premises in south Mumbai. State minister Ashish Shelar and senior police officials also paid floral tributes.

Family members of the martyred police personnel attended the ceremony and observed a moment of silence at the memorial plaque. Police units from across the city were present, saluting and standing in remembrance of their colleagues who confronted the attackers.
