Mumbai, Feb. 28 -- Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) has announced a 50 percent discount for women tourists staying at MTDC tourist resorts across the state from March 1 to 8, 2025, on the occasion of International Women's Day.
Various tourism initiatives will also be conducted under this scheme. This initiative is part of the "Aai" Women-Centric/Gender-Inclusive Tourism Policy, Tourism Minister Shambhuraj Desai informed on Friday.
Desai stated, "MTDC has implemented the 'Aai' women-centric tourism policy to make travel safer, more convenient, and more memorable for women tourists.
