Gwalior, June 19 -- Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said his government will provide Rs 5 lakh for theatre productions based on the lives of brave women, including Rani Lakshmibai, to promote their stories and legacy.
Yadav made the announcement while participating in the Veerangana Lakshmibai Balidan Mela held in Gwalior on Wednesday night. He said that the Balidan Mela, which has been organised for the past 26 years to commemorate the sacrifice of Rani Lakshmibai, is a meaningful effort to spread her story and legacy to every corner of society.
