Bhopal, Dec. 13 -- Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav Chief Minister on Saturday felicitated three players of Indian Women's T20 Blind World Cup winning team and announed cash rewards for them.
The honoured players include Sunita Sarathe, Sushma Patel, and Durga Yevle, each of whom played a vital role in India's historic World Cup triumph. The trio hails from Madhya Pradesh.
The state government announced a cash reward of Rs 25 lakhs for each player, comprising Rs 10 lakhs as a direct cheque and Rs 15 lakhs as a Fixed Deposit, ensuring both immediate honour and long-term financial security for the athletes.
India defeated Nepal by seven wickets in the final played in Colombo on November 23.
