Bhopal, May 14 -- Madhya Pradesh Congress President Jeetu Patwari on Wednesday wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, demanding the dismissal of Minister Vijay Shah and registration of a sedition case against him over his "objectionable and indecent remarks" about Operation Sindoor and a female army officer.
In his letter, Patwari stated that Minister Shah's comments about Colonel Sofia Qureshi are "not only a serious crime but also a direct attack on the dignity of the Indian Army, national unity, and social harmony".
The remarks "reflect Minister Shah's narrow-mindedness, communal bias, and irresponsible attitude, making him unfit to hold a public office, particularly as a minister", the letter states.
