Bhopal, Feb. 4 -- Alleging that the recent trade deal between India and USA would seriously harm the welfare and income of Indian farmers, Madhya Pradesh Congress president Jitu Patwari on Wednesday stated that the Congress party would aggressively take to the streets if the farmers of the country were betrayed in any way.

Addressing media persons at Bhopal, Patwari reasoned that if cheap agricultural products from the US enter India at zero per cent tax, Indian farmers' incomes would be completely devastated.

"The Congress party will take to the streets and launch a decisive agitation against any betrayal of farmers", the MP Congress Chief cautioned.
