Ranchi, Feb. 28 -- Memorandums of Understanding were signed to strengthen conservation, collection and value addition of minor forest produce during a one day workshop organised by Sidhkofed at Palash Auditorium in Ranchi.
The workshop was inaugurated by Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperation Minister Shilpi Neha Tirkey.
Three key MoUs were signed. One was between Sidhkofed and ICAR National Institute of Secondary Agriculture for a brood bank initiative. Another was between Sidhkofed and Jhasko Lamp along with Lakhishwari Lac Industry.
A third MoU was signed between Sidhkofed and Wild Harvest Venture Private Limited to promote forest produce, ensure better pricing and expand market linkages for farmers.
