Itanagar, Oct. 23 -- A motorcycle rally from the Tawang War Memorial to Bumla Pass was organized today as a heartfelt tribute to the martyrs of the 1962 Indo-Sino War.
The event held special significance as homage was paid to Param Yodha Subedar Joginder Singh on his Shaheed Diwas - marking the first-ever such tribute organized on the occasion of his martyrdom.
The initiative was led by Tawang MLA Namgey Tsering, on behalf of the people of Tawang, in collaboration with the District Administration, and the Tawang Brigade of the Indian Army.
