New Delhi, Feb. 9 -- Delhi's air quality continued to remain in the 'very poor' category across most parts of the national capital on Monday evening, primarily due to elevated levels of fine particulate matter (PM2.5), according to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).

Among the major pollution hotspots, Wazirpur recorded an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 320, while Anand Vihar and Alipur reported 312, followed by Ashok Vihar at 310. Narela registered an AQI of 307, and Bawana recorded AQI of 306.

Jahangirpuri also remained severely polluted with an AQI of 318, while R K Puram and Sonia Vihar logged AQI levels of 302 and 301 at around 7 PM on Monday, indicating continued unhealthy air conditions.
